My dog was scratching his ears,he had red itchy paws, he was on a grain free kibble, it had potatoes, peas, starchy carbs, changed to the Lamb & Rice & couldn't believe the different after bathing weekly baths & his new Lamb & Rice kibble, no more scratching or smelly dog..5
We have a 1.5 yr old Westie with IBD, and I have tried over 15 primarily grain free premium dry foods. I wanted to stay with dry, and was hung up on grain free based on all I read online. After our Westie always developed diarrhea and vomiting to some degree and then would no longer eat right away, I was finally encouraged by a local pet store to reconsider grain free and try the California Natural Lamb and Rice. Our dog goobles up his food very quickly without chewing, so we tried the small bites for hopeful ease of digestion. Made the switch cold turkey. Finally, this is the one!!!!! He absolutely loves it, good stools, no vomiting, very energetic. It's like a miracle. I don't know if it's the 4 basic ingredients or what, but I'm so glad we found this food. I can't say enough good things about it.5
My dog is beyond picky. We tried many, many types of dog food. We finally found California Naturals and he LOVES it. Thank you for a quality product.

Commonly referred to as Typical Nutrient Analysis (NA), this describes the nutrient content that a specific pet food formula is expected to achieve based on data from the formula database, or in some cases, from an actual laboratory assay. The goal in posting the Typical NA is to provide nutritionists and veterinarians with information that can aid in the treatment of clinical problems such as a cat with struvite or in working with overly obese dogs to prescribe feeding amounts and diet choice for the animal's success.
